Hawai’i Portfolio
Hello, Im Daeja Fallas a photographer and director from Hawaii, now splitting my time between Honolulu and Los Angeles. This collection of images came from a desire to share images in a way that felt like “home” to me. Situated 2,500 miles from the nearest continent Hawai’i is at once a bustling metropolis filled with cultures spanning the globe and home to the most endangered birds on the planet. It is my hope to share a piece of home with you from the point of view unique to growing up in Hawai’i. In the portfolio below you will find both personal work including images from my series “Plant Life” and “Hookahi” along with work made for brands including Hyundai, The New York Times, Free People, United Airlines and others.
